Freedom 44
Gel Coat Peel, Topsides Repair, and Transom Replacement
This actively-sailed Freedom 44 from Marblehead came to the yard for a
repaint of the topsides. After surveying the job we determined that it
would be less work to strip the gel coat than to repair what was there.
We also did some repairs to the hull, replaced the transom and repainted
the carbon spars. Since this job we’ve added a Whispergen, done some systems updates and replaced the original Perkins with a Yanmar.
